Organized by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Northern California (JCCNC), US-Japan Business Forum Silicon Valley (Keizai Silicon Valley), the Jewish High Tech Community (JHTC), and the German American Business Association (GABA)

Event Overview

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming every aspect of our economy—from generative AI and autonomous agents to robotics, manufacturing, and Physical AI. Yet behind every breakthrough lies a challenge that receives far less attention: energy.

The next generation of AI systems will require unprecedented amounts of computing power. Massive GPU clusters, increasingly powerful CPUs, advanced data centers, and the rise of Physical AI are driving energy demand to levels few anticipated just a few years ago. At the same time, governments, utilities, technology companies, and investors are grappling with a fundamental question:

How do we power the future of intelligence?

Will advances in energy generation keep pace with AI's growing appetite for electricity? What role will nuclear power, renewables, grid modernization, and energy storage play? How will the race for AI leadership reshape global energy markets and national competitiveness? And what are the implications for innovation hubs such as Silicon Valley?
