The year 2025 promises to unfold against a backdrop of significant global shifts, beginning with a new U.S. president and a world still navigating complex geopolitical and technological landscapes.

As the effects of ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East linger, nations are grappling with the need to redefine energy policies and reframe trade relationships. The transition to renewable energy is gaining momentum, especially in Europe, but it remains a delicate process as supply chains adapt to new realities. While inflationary pressures have eased in some areas, economic growth remains uneven, with key concerns around the speed of recovery in both the U.S. and Europe.

At the same time, emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, digitalization, and breakthroughs in sustainable innovation present both opportunities and challenges for global industries. How will these advances reshape markets? Will energy security concerns accelerate or slow down progress toward climate goals? And in an increasingly competitive world, how will global powers strike a balance between collaboration and rivalry?
