Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Marina, this exclusive gathering will feature a curated 4-course menu showcasing the season’s culinary highlight—freshly flown in white asparagus—paired with fine wines and distinguished company. 

As a highlight of the evening, GABA Southern California proudly honors Mohamed El-Erian with the Outstanding Achievement Award, celebrating his remarkable contributions to the German American community and his unmatched global economic expertise. Mohamed El-Erian is one of the most influential economists of our time. He serves as President of Queens' College at Cambridge University, Chief Economic Advisor at Allianz, and Chair of Gramercy Fund Management and is shaping global economic thinking from academia to the financial world.





The evening begins in style with a sparkling champagne reception, sponsored by Wine Lab, where guests will be welcomed by breathtaking panoramic views of the harbor channel, bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun.




GABA Outstanding Achievement Award

Following the award ceremony, renowned broadcast journalist Frank Mottek, widely recognized as The Voice of Business News in Los Angeles, will lead an insightful discussion with our esteemed honoree, Mohamed El-Erian, recipient of the GABA Outstanding Achievement Award. El-Erian will share his insights on the global economy and financial markets. Through his influential commentary on CNBC, Bloomberg, and CNN, he has shaped policy and investment decisions, while his advisory role to President Obama and leadership at Allianz and PIMCO have reinforced economic stability.
