The evening features an exclusive conversation with acclaimed cinematographer Markus Förderer, ASC, BVK, interviewed by Joachim (JZ) Zell. Together, they'll explore the creative decisions behind the image, from visual language and collaboration with directors to the character of lenses, the intentional use of lens flare, and how every frame serves the story. Expect an honest, behind-the-scenes discussion about the craft of cinematography and the choices audiences feel but rarely notice.

Markus Förderer, ASC, BVK is an award-winning cinematographer known for his visually distinctive style and innovative approach to cinematic storytelling, he has collaborated with acclaimed directors and leading studios on productions including I ORIGINS, INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE, RED NOTICE, CONSTELLATION, and SEPTEMBER 5. A member of both the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) and the German Society of Cinematographers (BVK), Markus is recognized for blending artistic vision with technical innovation, continually pushing the boundaries of modern cinematography.
