For one evening this December, GABA has reserved two of the Fairmont Breakers' most private spaces: the Alter Ego and Red Room, dressed for the season and set aside exclusively for our year-end celebration.

The Fairmont Breakers is Long Beach's 1926 landmark, restored to its five-star standing with an eye for both eras: Art Deco detail carried through in the architecture, paired with stark white marble, original brass fixtures, and a clean, contemporary polish. It carries itself well before a single guest walks in.

You'll be welcomed with a holiday cocktail on arrival, the kind that gives you a moment to take in the room before the evening begins. Food stations are set throughout the space, offering a full spread for the evening. The bar carries the property's complete selection and stays open throughout the evening as a cash bar.

What isn't on the invitation, but you'll notice all the same: familiar and new faces from across the German-American business community, gathered somewhere none of them expected to spend a Wednesday evening in December. That's the quieter appeal of a GABA evening. The room draws you in. The people are why you stay.
