At Schug we are proud to carry on our family’s 100-year-old tradition of hand-crafted Pinot Noir. From our roots in Germany and now as 30-year stewards of the land at our Carneros Estate, we follow in the footsteps of our father and founder, winemaking pioneer Walter Schug. By honoring our decades-old, handshake commitments with local farmers throughout Sonoma County, coupled with techniques handed down through the generations, we make wines known the world over for their grace and balance. Schug Winery is located at the gateway to the Sonoma Valley, just 40 miles north of San Francisco. We offer tastings by appointment in our charming courtyard.
